The African & Asian Curriculum for Community Colleges is funded as part of the U.S. Department of Education National Resource Center (Title VI) Grant for Foreign Language and Area Studies to the African Studies Center and Asian Studies Center, Michigan State University. The project was collaboratively developed by the outreach programs of these two Centers and the Midwest Consortium for International and Intercultural Education (MIIIE), headquartered at Kalamazoo Valley Community College.

The website was constructed by Matrix: Humanities and Social Sciences Online, Michigan State University.
